Interpreting My Dream February 10, 2009

I was taking Benadryl and fell asleep. When I fell asleep, I dreamed that 1.) I had forgotten to read Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead and 2.) Someone else was having a wedding or something, but that my friends and I were eating shroomy M&Ms in this picture of a place that I saw on the internet when I was looking for cool places to visit while I’m in Amsterdam this summer.

So, I decided to Google ‘dream meanings’ and find the dumbest interpretation of my dreams that I could. I’ve found alot of interpretations for what reading a book means, but none for what not reading a book means. So, I’ll just assume that it means the opposite of what reading a book means. Yeah. 

Dream 1: dreammoods.com says: “To see books in your dream, indicates calmness. You are moving toward your goals at a slow and steady pace. Books also symbolize knowledge, intellect, information and wisdom. ” So I will interpret Dream 1 as meaning that I am not calm, that I am not moving towards my goals at a slow and steady pace, and that I have no knowledge, intellect, information, or wisdom.

Dream 2: M&Ms: dreammoods.com says: “To see or eat candy in your dream, symbolizes the joys and special treats in life. It also represents indulgence, sensuality and/or forbidden pleasure. “ Wedding: “To see a marriage in your dream, signifies commitment, harmony or transitional period. You are undergoing an important developmental phase in your life. The dream may also represent the unification of formerly separate or opposite aspects of yourself.” Shrooms: Dream Interpretation Dictionary says: “To see mushrooms in your dreams, denotes unhealthy desires, and unwise haste in amassing wealth, as it may vanish in law suits and vain pleasures.To eat them, signifies humiliation and disgraceful love.For a young woman to dream of them, foretells her defiance of propriety in her pursuit of foolish pleasures.”

So, I guess I should interpret this as meaning that um…wait…what?
